Hey $kaycog thought you might want to get the crowd-funding campaign going, this is on sale in H-Town:

Are people really paying that for them? Might be time to sell mine.

Not sure - they don’t come up that often. If this one sells strongly might want to consider it and pick up a few new toys!

The prices for GTs are absolutely absurd right now.
I’d rather save a boatload of money and buy a Superperformance GT40.

There are TONS of Ford GTs for sale — if you want one that’s got the average amount of miles for a Ford GT it’ll cost about $275K. Low mileage ones are fetching $75K over that. Just something I picked up looking at them last week.
Also, while looking at them last week, a salvaged one was available for $200K. Totally not worth it.

What’s interesting is the ebay listing shows this particular Ford GT with a 12/19 mpg, but the sticker in the photos says 13/21.
Somebody isn’t doing their job right...

*sigh* Wow.........only 499 miles on it. I hope whoever buys it drives it. It deserves to be driven.

I wonder if one that has been driven at least weekly isn’t a better deal. I’d be worried about fluids and seals.

Seriously - especially since these are supposed to not be to bad to drive and the parts although special are still Ford parts. Nothing on these is made out of unobtainium.

I don’t think there is anything much to be worried about with a motor like this. It’s not some exotic motor and the motors aren’t quite old yet.
